Rise's Recap of the 2019 Gulf Coast Energy Forum

The Rise team showcased at the Gulf Coast Energy Forum as one of the premiere event sponsors on October 14-16, 2019 at the Westin Canal Place in New Orleans, Louisiana. This event was the third of its kind to focus specifically on the business of Liquefied Natural Gas, commonly referred to as “LNG” from the producers of the LDC Gas Forum and U.S. New Mexico Natural Gas Forum.

Due to the fact the U.S. Gulf Coast boasts the benefits of having proximity to natural gas supply, as well as accessibility to the Gulf coastline further extending the supply chain worldwide, it is only natural that this area has become a hub for global LNG activity. For this reason, the U.S. Gulf Coast Energy Forum has emerged as a benchmark for LNG discussion.

Although this forum spotlighted global LNG market fundamentals, the entirety of the natural gas value chain was represented as the supply chain is vital in the production of LNG. This event served as a crossroads for key industry players, such as producers, marketers, pipelines, LNG facility operators, LNG transporters, LDCs/utilities companies, and all end users, to network, conduct business, and gain insight about the industry.

The Rise team is excited to have been able to connect with forum attendees before, after, and in-between sessions and through the multiple scheduled networking activities. Over the course of this forum the Rise team was privileged to remain up to date on industry news and gain primary insight from a handful of keynote speakers such as Mr. Orlando Alvarez, President & CEO of BP Energy, Mr. Billy Nungesser, Lt.
